Honourable Justice Sheikh Abdullahi Adam Abdullahi Al-Ilory was born in the late 1960s into the distinguished Al-Ilory family — a lineage known for its devotion to Islamic knowledge and da’wah. He is the son of the illustrious scholar, Sheikh Adam Abdullahi Al-Ilory (R.A.), founder of Markaz Agege, Lagos, Nigeria.
He began his educational journey at Yaba Model Primary School, Lagos, completing his studies in 1980. He proceeded to Ansar-ud-Deen Grammar School, Randle Avenue, Surulere, where he finished in 1985/86.
Driven by the quest for religious and academic excellence, he enrolled at the Markaz Islamic Training Centre, Agege, from 1985 to 1993, where he obtained profound grounding in Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Da’wah.
He then pursued a combined degree in Sharia and Civil Law at Bayero University, Kano, graduating in 1998. His thirst for knowledge led him to Al-Azhar University, Cairo, where he completed a certificate course specializing in Da’wah.
He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2001 after completing his studies at the Nigerian Law School, Bwari, Abuja.
Professional Journey:
Justice Al-Ilory began his legal career with some of Nigeria’s most reputable law firms — including M.A.O. Ojelade & Co., Paul Usoro (SAN) & Co., and Stillwaters Law Firm, Ikoyi, Lagos — where he gained extensive experience in corporate, commercial, and intellectual property law.
In 2002, he registered his own firm, Abdullahi Adam Abdullahi & Co., and commenced full private practice in 2010.
He also served as a Part-Time Law Lecturer at Lagos State Polytechnic from 2004 to 2010, contributing to the grooming of future legal minds.

He serves as Company Secretary to numerous organizations including Medview Airline Plc and Royalsec Services Ltd.
He is also an External Solicitor to major corporate institutions such as Access Bank Plc, Sterling Bank Plc, and Excelsior Hotel Ltd.
Judicial Appointment:
On 16th August 2021, Sheikh Abdullahi Adam Al-Ilory was sworn in as a Kadi (Honourable Justice) of the Sharia Court of Appeal, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja — a role he continues to discharge with dignity, fairness, and devotion to Allah.
International Engagements & Conferences:
He has represented Nigeria and the Islamic community at numerous conferences in Egypt, Morocco, Sudan, Algeria, Mauritania, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, and the United States, among others.
His contributions reflect his lifelong commitment to justice, Islamic scholarship, and leadership.

Continuing the spiritual and intellectual heritage of his father, Sheikh Adam Al-Ilory (R.A.), Sheikh Abdullahi Adam Al-Ilory founded the Fountain of Islamic Wisdom Society of Nigeria (Manbahul Hikmah) in 2003 at Akoka, Lagos.
Through this organization, he has promoted sound Islamic understanding, youth empowerment, and moral education in the community and beyond.
